Sky Planter: Upside Down Hanging Pots for Spider Plants

Upside Down Planter for Spider Plants with Self Watering System

Looking for an innovative way to hang your spider plants? The fascinating Sky Planter gives us a whole new way to display potted plants – without taking up valuable table or shelf space.

In fact, Sky Planters virtually trick the eye into thinking that they are lamp shades with plants growing out of them. They are unique and stylish, yet easy to set up and grow.

The Benefits of Inverted Planters

These space-saving flower pots provide an easy way to add air-purifying houseplants throughout your home. You may never go back to traditional planters after you’ve tried inverted gardening…

For example, my favorite spot for the Sky Planter is in my home office. I don’t have to give up desk space or clear a shelf in the bookcase. I can simply hang spider plants around my desk to remove air toxins while I’m working.

In addition, plants can help improve indoor air quality in rooms where people tend to spend lots of time (ie. the bedroom, kitchen of living room around the TV). Plus, the Boskke Sky Planter doesn’t limit you to just spider plants. Think English ivy, miniature palms, golden pothos, rubber plants, peace lily or ferns.

How Does the Sky Planter Work Exactly?

This upside down flower pot may look like it leaks water and makes a mess. However, that’s where the trick lies.

The water reservoir hides in the top portion of the container. The special design of the pot slowly irrigates the soil over time.

In addition to keeping the plant healthy, this watering system prevents water from leaking out of the bottom.

How to set up your Sky Planter:

Because the water reservoir is located in the top of the inverted pot, you can easily refill it without taking the planter down or disassembling it. Furthermore, a green rod sticks out of the top, letting you know when the reservoir needs to be refilled.

The plant doesn’t fall out of the planter because it is held in place by a locking “collar”. Moreover, a mesh screen hold all of the soil in place while letting the roots breath.
